Straight answers
Is CORE just ChatGPT on a box?
No. CORE runs private models on hardware dedicated to your business. It answers from the material you give it. It is not a consumer chatbot with a Star Tech sticker on it.
Does our data leave the building?
On-prem CORE keeps files on-site. CORE Cloud keeps them on a dedicated instance we host for you — not a shared public AI. Air-gapped installs are available when the internet should stay out of it.
Do we need a server room?
No. CORE is sized for a closet, a shelf, or a small rack in a normal office. If you would rather not host hardware, choose CORE Cloud.
Who is this for?
Small and mid-size organizations that already take IT seriously — manufacturers, professional offices, retailers, schools, and clinics in our region. If you would not email a customer file to a stranger, you are in the audience.
Can Star Tech run it after install?
Yes. Managed AI is the default: monitoring, updates, backups, and a local team that already knows your network. You can also run more hands-off if that is the preference.
